* CAT pulley kits are all coat with epoxy paint. It is ready for installation out from the box.

* Make sure the damper face, generator flange, and water pump flange are throughly cleaned and free of any debris..

* Apply loctite on bolt thread. Select coorect length of new belts and place on pulleys. Install fan on main pulley with hand tight.

* Check and adjust belt tension as recommend. Deflect belt 0.5" for a non-auto tensioner belt system.

* Line up all pulleys. If necessary adjust pulley height with adding shims under pulley mount.

* Make sure pulley are seated on hub squarely. Install bolts with proper torque. Install locking washer on all bolts.

* Hand crank engine for belt tracking and tension check..

* Make sure the fan blade is clear from radiator and shroud.
