C.A.T. water pumps are manufactured from die casting 108 aluminum alloy. Die casting process with a steel mold eliminates casting porosity to a minimum. Evey pump is installed with a heavy duty bearing system combined with a 3/4" integral ball bearing and a 3/4" roller bearing to withstand higher torsion loads at high RPM and also reduce horizontal movement to extend usaful life and minimize the shaft vibration from water flow turbulence. The heavy duty mechnical water seal is for long life operation. Cast iron impellers with curved vanes are machined from CNC centers for accuracy and durability with maximum flow rate and greater pressure. Each pump is put under an endurance test in shop for four hours to ensure the best quality and peak performancecondition.
